My name is Curtis Dicks, Owner and Operator of Island Ties Vacation Rentals and Property Management. My vision and mission is to create a place not only for families to Stay, Play and Love our Gentle Island, but a place of work, as well. Ultimately, This company is for my 3 sons - Levi, Theo & Jett. After serving as a Paramedic in 2 provinces over 10 years,  A quick and valuable lesson was learned regarding the importance of time and family. I needed more time but couldn't create it. For so many more future moments, I simply needed more. Our family loves the beauty of our home Province and cherishes the important time needed to be spent with family. How can we make more memories with our loved ones while helping others do the same? in our case, it was by creating a family business that provides a space and a service that assures a perfectly imperfect memorable family vacation. Myself being born and raised on Prince Edward Island. My wife, April from Newfoundland. From an accidental meeting to a son born in each province, our Island Ties story was born.
